Through specific, neurologically based chiropractic care athletes are able to unlock their infinite potential of human performance ensuring they are giving their best possible performance during competition or during the daily training routine.

The great American runner Steve Prefontaine is quoted as saying “To give anything less than your best, is to sacrifice the gift.” #StopPre

Dr. Nico found chiropractic care while playing Div. I football in college and it changed his life forever. He was initially sent to the chiropractor for a lingering hamstring injury that would not get better no matter how much rehab and PT he did. Thinking his trainers were crazy for sending him to a “back doctor” he reluctantly went only to find out how powerful the nervous system and body truly was. After his first week of care the pain and dysfunction was almost completely gone and he was back on the field during spring practice within two weeks of care. Dr. Nico is also an Exercise Physiology major with a heavy background in strength and conditioning that he constantly pours back into our practice members who are athletes.

Athletic careers get cut short way to often because of either improper training, and even more so, improper maintenance of the body. The traumas and stressors sports put on the body can be serious at time and having a nervous system and body trained to handle and adapt to any situation will out you strides ahead of the competition. Dr. Nico will always sit down with you to discuss your athletic health, training, or the mental toll sports can have on you as you progress and climb through them.

Michael Jordan has always said, “I didn’t know how much I could improve until I started seeing a chiropractor. Since I’ve been in chiropractic, I’ve improved by leaps and bounds both mentally and physically.”
